Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero hopes his side can use the game against Bari as a springboard to success on Sunday as he evokes encouragement from their midweek Coppa Italia success over Catania.

Despite a knock to his knee, the Italian should recover in time to play a role against the Galletti.

"After a great night and some moments of fear, I return to focus on the league and our next game against Bari," Del Piero told his official website.

"The result and performance in the Coppa Italia were important, but it would count for nothing if we fail to repeat that result in the league after a negative period.

"We needed the game against Catania. It was like a restart for us.

"As for the knee, I hope the inflammation goes so I can be ready for Bari."
