Boselli has joined Genoa from Wigan.
Genoa have confirmed the signing of Argentine centre-forward Mauro Boselli on loan from Wigan Athletic.
The Italian club announced on their official website that they have signed the 25-year-old for the rest of the 2010-11 campaign with an option to make the deal permanent by paying Wigan an undisclosed transfer fee.
Boselli joined Wigan from Argentine club Estudiantes in August 2010 but the forward struggled to adapt to the Premier League.
The former Boca Juniors striker has featured twice for the Argentina national team so far in his career.
