Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho says it is his side's aim to not only win, but win by big margins, as the Blancos defeated Atletico Madrid 3-1 in the Copa del Rey quarter-final first leg.

The 'Special One' also believed Sergio Aguero's goal was scored from an offside position.

"If there is anything to complain about, it has to do with Atletico's goal," Mourinho told a press conference, as reported by Eurosport. "The referee's assistant was wrong with his decision.

"We played better in the first-half than in the second. We knew we had to make several changes in order to get the win.

"I always tell my players that it is important to win, but it is also paramount to win by big margins. I liked winning 3-1, but thought we could have tried a little harder and done more to score another goal."

Mourinho also explained why the side are looking for another striker, saying it has little to do with not liking Karim Benzema.

"We do not want a striker because we do not like Karim," explained the former Inter boss. "It has nothing to do with this.

"Karim is working harder than ever, but is currently lacking a bit of hunger to score."
