Lazio Issue Official Denial Of Mauro Zarate Interview With Magazine

Lazio have been forced to issue an official statement following false reports star man Mauro Zarate.
As Lazio continues to fly high in the standings it seems the Biancocelesti are finally getting their act together at club level as they begin to protect their most prized possessions from false moves elsewhere.

With star man Mauro Zarate the most recent to come under fire after recently appearing as the cover feature for an English magazine, the capital club have been quick to release an official statement denying the origins of the exclusive interview.

"In reference to the declarations present in the magazine ‘Calcio Italia’, Lazio would like to state that Mauro Zarate has never given any interviews to the aforementioned source," read the notice on Lazio's official website.

Zarate was reported to be ready to leave the club last season following friction with coach Edoardo Reja and expressed a desire to return to the Premier League in the future.
