Mirko Slomka Bemoans Hannover's Lack Of Desire In Bayer Leverkusen Loss

Hannover did not try hard enough to score against Leverkusen, said Mirko Slomka.
Hannover coach Mirko Slomka was disappointed with his team's passive nature in tonight's 2-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen.

"We were just missing the will to score a goal," he said according to Kicker. "And we should have defended better from the goals conceded.

"Leverkusen then had the individual quality to exploit our mistakes."

Hannover lost by a 2-0 margin, but die Roten never really got into the game offensively, and slumped to their second defeat in three matches.
