Marco Storari Keen To Regain Juventus Starting XI Spot

Juventus goalkeeper Marco Storari says he is determined to regain his starting XI after the return of Gianluigi Buffon from injury.
Juventus goalkeeper Marco Storari has revealed he is keen to regain his spot in the Bianconeri's starting XI after the return of Gianluigi Buffon from a back injury.

The former Sampdoria and Milan shot-stopper knows he will have to fight for his spot, and admits to having a good relationship with Buffon.

"With Gigi, I have a very good relationship," Storari told Sportal after the side's match against Roma in the Coppa Italia. "I will look to train hard to regain my spot, even if I know that there are certain rules I need to respect.'

The shot-stopper says the team is disappointed to have lost to the Giallorossi, but will turn their attention to the weekend's league clash against Udinese.

"We are all disappointed because we relly wanted to make the semi-finals," he continued. "It is a shame.

"Now we must roll up our sleeves and quickly think about the match against Udinese and doing well in the league."
